T&C and Return Policy


Our other contact details are specified in the 'Contact Us' section of our website.  Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer. This is our policy for online purchases.
PAYMENT AND PRICING
Our website use Shopify Inc payment processing platform. We will only process orders if we are able to obtain authorisation from Shopify Inc. The price of the goods is stated clearly on our site and are quoted in £ sterling. VAT is added at checkout, unless purchasing from outside the EU in which case no VAT will be added to the total of your purchase. We may change the price of goods at any time. All import and tax duties when sending items outside of UK are included in the purchase price. 
YOUR ORDER
Customers must be over 18. Your order is an offer to buy from us. By placing an order, you agree to our Terms and Conditions. Your statutory rights are not affected. Please check your order carefully to ensure it is correct. Please supply us with all necessary information relating to the goods you order within a sufficient time to enable us to perform this contract. UK Tax legislation requires us to retain records of our sales for 5 years. We keep this data in accordance with our privacy policy and do not store credit card details under any circumstances.
UNAVAILABILITY
If any of the goods are unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange a full refund via your original mode of payment.
YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
If you are a consumer, as defined in the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel within 7 working days of delivery of goods to you. You can do this by email before returning items for a full refund, or before the items are posted (within 1-3 days).
RETURNS
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, so if you are not entirely satisfied with your online purchase or need to exchange it for a different item please email us at office@davidovlondon.com with your order number, name and address, details of the product, the reason for return, and whether you require an exchange or a refund. We will then advise you on how to proceed.
All items bought online must be returned to us within 10 days from the date of purchase and customers will be responsible for the cost of return delivery. We advise you to send back the item via secure delivery as we do not take responsibility for missing items. We will email you when your item has been received. If you return an item without notification we will simply hold onto it and await your contact.
Returns outside the 10 day period may not be accepted. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on bespoke or made-to-order items unless the item is prove to be faulty.
Items that appear worn or used will not be refunded and returned to the customer.
Please note our warranty is void if any damage is incurred by the customer, including any damage caused by perfumes, bleaching, heat exposure and general wear and tear. Any repairs due to the above are at the discretion of the company and will involve a charge. 
Exchanges and refunds usually only take a few days to process. You will be fully refunded via your original method of payment within 14 days. Please note card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.
Returns are accepted if:
  1. You have emailed us to notify us of your wish to return or exchange the item bought online.
  2. The item is returned to us within 10 days from the date of your invoice. We allow 14 days for International orders.
  3. The item is returned to us in the same condition as we dispatched it - unworn, with all the original packaging intact and all tags in place.
Please note that you only need to return the items you wish to exchange or receive a refund for. We cannot accept responsibility for items returned to us without a  proof of purchase.
LATE RETURNS
You have 10 days (14 days for International orders) from the day of delivery to return your item along with your original invoice which is enclosed with all orders. Items received outside this time frame will not be eligible for refund. Any credit notes will be at our discretion.
FAULTY ITEMS
Please check your item(s) for any faults when you receive them. If the item is faulty, please contact us with your order number and details of the fault, stating whether you require a replacement or refund. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. There will be no postage charge to the customer in the case of replacing a faulty item. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of common wear and tear or customer negligence are not considered to be faulty.
COLOURS & STONES
We have made every effort to display the colours of our products that appear on www.davidovlondon.com as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display will be completely accurate. In addition, due to the natural quality of our stones there may be differences in size and form of our stones. All our products are handmade and therefore there may be slight inconsistencies.
LOOKING AFTER YOUR JEWELLERY
In order to keep your jewellery in pristine condition, we recommend that you protect it from water, extreme temperatures, chemicals and scratches in order to minimise damage. Ideally, we suggest that you store your jewellery in original box or pouch provided.   
All our products are made with sterling silver, 18 or 22 karat gold plated, and sust You may wish to use a silver cleaning product (for example silver cutlery rinse available from many department stores) to gently clean the product.
All of our products are non-allergenic, made of either sterling silver or silver with gold plating,semi-precious gemstones and pearls that are chosen responsibly and ethically sourced from sustainable suppliers around the world.
UNCOLLECTED OR REFUSED ORDERS
If your order is refused on delivery or uncollected and subsequently returned to us postage may be charged and we will not accept responsibility for lost items as a result.
DATA PROTECTION
Any personal information collected from you is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These T&Cs shall be governed by English law and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts. If any part of these T&Cs is deemed ineffective for any reason, the remainder shall continue in full force.
A person who is not a party to this agreement shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of the Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement.
Neither party is liable for failure to perform or delay in performing any obligation (excluding payment) under this agreement if the failure or delay is caused by any circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.
JURISDICTION
The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
